The Honorable Commissioner for Economic Planning, Delta State, Mr. Sonny Akporokiamo Ekedayen, has extended warm congratulations to the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori, on the occasion of his third anniversary in office.
In a goodwill message commemorating the milestone, Ekedayen described Governor Oborevwori’s three years in office as a remarkable era of visionary leadership, purposeful governance, and sustainable development anchored on the administration’s MORE Agenda.
According to him, the governor has continued to demonstrate uncommon dedication to the growth and advancement of Delta State through strategic investments in infrastructure, education, healthcare, economic development, youth empowerment, agriculture, and urban renewal.
“Over the past three years, Governor Oborevwori has shown strong commitment to improving the living conditions of Deltans through people-oriented policies and impactful projects spread across the three senatorial districts of the state. His administration has remained focused, responsive, and development-driven,” Ekedayen stated.
He noted that under Governor Oborevwori’s leadership, Delta State has witnessed increased economic stability, improved planning coordination, and stronger institutional frameworks that are positioning the state for long-term prosperity and inclusive growth.
The Commissioner further commended the governor’s prudent management of resources, commitment to transparency, and determination to sustain peace and security across the state, stressing that these qualities have enhanced investor confidence and strengthened public trust in government.
Ekedayen also praised the governor for prioritizing strategic economic planning and implementation, noting that such support has enabled ministries, departments, and agencies to align effectively with the administration’s development goals for the benefit of all Deltans.
“Your Excellency’s leadership style reflects humility, resilience, and genuine concern for the welfare of the people. As you mark this important milestone, I join millions of Deltans in celebrating your achievements and praying for greater wisdom, strength, and divine guidance as you continue to steer the affairs of our dear state,” he said.
On behalf of his family, staff, and stakeholders in the Ministry of Economic Planning, Ekedayen wished Governor Oborevwori continued success and urged Deltans to remain supportive of the administration’s vision for a stronger, more prosperous, and united Delta State.
