STATEMENT TO THE PEOPLE OF DELTA CENTRAL SENATORIAL DISTRICT
My dear people of Delta Central Senatorial District,
I urge you not to be discouraged by recent developments in our district. The fact remains that I am still the candidate you overwhelmingly voted for, and no amount of propaganda should make anyone believe that I have abandoned the mandate you freely gave me.
Before joining the NDC, we carried out extensive consultations with both state and national party leaders. During these engagements, I was assured of the party’s support as a leading aspirant, a position that was clearly affirmed by your massive support during the primaries.
We recorded overwhelming victories in Ughelli South, Okpe, and Sapele. Although my name was omitted from the result sheet in Ughelli North, we remain grateful for the support and confidence shown by the people. The election in Ethiope East was cancelled despite my clear lead in the local government area.
I sincerely appreciate your unwavering support, dedication, and belief in our vision. Your commitment continues to inspire us as we move forward.
We remain focused and optimistic as we look ahead to the general elections.
