National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has officially commissioned the party’s campaign office in Oyo State and inaugurated its Governorship Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Yilwatda said the campaign office would serve as a strategic centre for grassroots mobilisation, coordination and engagement, while the campaign council would provide leadership and direction for the party’s activities across the state.
He expressed confidence in the party’s governorship candidate, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, and the ability of the Oyo APC leadership and members to run a united, focused and people-oriented campaign.
Yilwatda said the party’s campaign would focus on strengthening the APC, deepening its connection with residents and communicating its vision of “renewed hope” to the people.
He said the party would work with its members and supporters to secure what he described as a “resounding APC victory” in Oyo State in the 2027 election.
