The Honourable Commissioner for Energy Delta State, Engr. Michael Anoka FNSE, has described the today’s APC Ward Congress held across Delta State as a strong sign of unity and progress for the party.
He made this statement while speaking with journalists at his ward, Ogume Ward 6 in Ndokwa West Local Government Area, shortly after the congress ended.

Anoka said the peaceful and successful conduct of the congress shows that the party is growing stronger and more united in Delta State.
According to him, the exercise was free, fair, and carried out in an atmosphere of peace and cooperation.
The Commissioner noted that the peaceful conduct of the congress in Ogume Ward 6 and other parts of the state is a clear sign of effective leadership within the party.
Anoka attributed the success of the exercise to the leadership style of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State, and the State Party Chairman, Elder Sobotie.
Anoka said the unity displayed during the congress shows that members are ready to work together for the growth and success of the party in future elections.
He added that internal democracy and consensus-building are important for strengthening the party structure at the grassroots level.
At the end of the congress in Ogume Ward 6, Mr. Ogude Chukwudi emerged as the consensus Chairman of the ward, alongside other elected members of the Ward Executive Committee.
Party members present expressed satisfaction with the process and the outcome.
He congratulated Mr. Ogude Chukwudi and other newly elected ward executives and urged them to carry everyone along in their leadership.
The Honourable Commissioner called on party members to remain loyal, peaceful, and committed to building a stronger and more united APC in Delta State.
Anoka expressed confidence that with continued unity and cooperation, the party will achieve greater success in the future.
