Thirty-four years ago, the creation of Delta State gave expression to the aspirations of our people. Since then, our beloved state has become a shining example of resilience, unity, and progress. From our cultural diversity to our economic strength, and from the brilliance of our citizens to the strides of successive administrations, Delta has continued to thrive against all odds.
Rt. Hon. (Olorogun) Akpowowo commends the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, whose commitment to the MORE Agenda is deepening development, consolidating peace, and fostering inclusiveness across the three senatorial districts.
He urges all Deltans to use this anniversary as a moment of reflection and renewed dedication to the ideals of unity, equity, and service. Our diversity remains our greatest strength, and our collective efforts will ensure a more prosperous future for generations to come.
