The Delta State Traffic Management Authority Destma has reaffirmed its commitment to professionalism and discipline among its personnel, following its weekly staff meeting held with the Director of Operations, Engr. Francis Edema.
During the session, Engr. Edema charged officers of the agency to maintain proper conduct while carrying out their duties, stressing the importance of adherence to DESTMA’s operational guidelines to avoid sanctions.

He reminded officers of key rules, including the need to always appear in their full uniform, remain polite and courteous when engaging with road users, and uphold the image of the authority at all times.
The Director further urged officials to handle incoming calls with courtesy and professionalism, noting that their conduct directly reflects on the reputation of the agency.

Also speaking at the meeting, the Asaba Zonal Head echoed the call for discipline, encouraging officers to strictly comply with the agency’s regulations while discharging their responsibilities.
Engr. Edema concluded by emphasizing that DESTMA officers must consistently project the authority’s values through discipline, professionalism, and respect for the public.
