The Ndoshimili Progressive Youths have officially thrown their weight behind the All Progressives Congress (APC) as they gathered under the leadership of Hon. Prince Emeka Osamatu, National Leader, and Comrade Lucky Onyia, Coordinator. The energetic youths, who converged in Ashaka, Ndokwa East, Delta State, have also extended a passionate call to Immediate past Governor, Sen. Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa to contest for the Senate, with a view to giving Delta North a strong and effective voice in the upper chamber of the National Assembly.
The occasion, which marked the formal inauguration of the Local Government Area (LGA) executives and National Executive of the Ndoshimili Progressive Youths, was a grand success. At the gathering, the youths expressed their unwavering support for the APC and its candidates, pledging to work tirelessly to ensure the party’s victory in the upcoming elections. They also commended Hon. Prince Emeka Osamatu for his tireless efforts in mobilizing and uniting the youths of Ndoshimili under one umbrella, and for his commitment to the development of the region.
The call for Sen. Dr. Okowa to run for Senate was met with thunderous applause, with the youths expressing confidence that he is the best candidate to represent Delta North in the Senate. They cited his proven track record of leadership, his vision for the region, and his commitment to the welfare of the people as qualities that make him the ideal candidate for the job.
In response, Immediate Past Governor Okowa and RT Hon. Emomotimi Guwor(Speaker DTHA), applauded the Ndoshimili Progressive Youths, assuring them of their continuous support. They encouraged more youths to engage in politics, supporting current leaders as a way to prepare themselves for future positions.
The event was a resounding success, with the youths demonstrating their enthusiasm and energy, and reaffirming their commitment to the APC and the development of Ndoshimili and Delta State as a whole.
