The Ndokwa East Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially endorsed Chief Kris Oputa as its sole candidate for LGA Chairman ahead of the upcoming party congress scheduled for February.
The endorsement took place today, 12th February 2026, at Ward 10, Ushie, during a well-attended meeting of party leaders drawn from all ten wards of the local government area.
The motion to adopt Chief Oputa was moved by Rt. Hon. Olise Imegwu, former Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, and seconded by Rt. Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi, Member representing Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
The decision received unanimous affirmation from leaders of the Ndokwa East APC Chapter, reflecting strong unity and shared commitment within the party.
Proceedings were led by Chief Godwill Obielum, the Onyechiyeni-Ugo of Ushie and APC Chapter Leader of Ndokwa East.
The colourful event was marked by enthusiasm, solidarity, and optimism, as party leaders expressed confidence in Chief Oputa’s capacity to unite and drive meaningful development across Ndokwa East LGA.
