The Honourable Member representing Ethiope West State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Blessing Achoja, has joined millions of Deltans and well-wishers across Nigeria to celebrate a political colossus and Chief Adviser to the Governor of Delta State, Chief Sen. (Dr.) Ighoyota Amori, JP, popularly known as the Odidimadi of the Universe, on the occasion of his 74th birthday.
In a congratulatory message, Hon. Achoja, on behalf of his family, the peace-loving people of Ethiope West and his associates, described Chief Amori as a true leader, political institution, mentor and father whose contributions to Mosogar Kingdom, Ethiope West, the Urhobo Nation and Delta State remain remarkable.
He highlighted Chief Amori’s remarkable political journey, spanning decades of public service—from his time as a Councillor in 1987, to serving as PDP State Publicity Secretary, Commissioner for Education, Commissioner for Water Resources, Distinguished Senator, National Leader, and currently Chief Adviser to the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori.
According to Hon. Achoja, Chief Amori is not only a seasoned politician but also a builder of men, bridge builder, loyal party man and mentor, whose courage, consistency, humility and uncommon political sagacity have continued to inspire many, including those he has helped raise politically.
He prayed that God Almighty would continue to bless the Odidimadi of the Universe with long life, sound health, greater wisdom and abundant joy, while wishing him a more fruitful and fulfilling 74th year.
