Fellow Constituents, Great People of Ndokwa East,
Today we join millions of Nigerians to commemorate Democracy Day — a day that reminds us of the sacrifices made for freedom, the power of the ballot, and the responsibility we all share to build our nation from the grassroots up.
Democracy is the voice of the farmer in Ashaka, the trader in Aboh, the youth in Ibrede, and the elder in Okpai. It is the right to demand better and the duty to participate in making better happen. It is the bridge between promises made and promises kept.
As your representative, I am reminded today that leadership is stewardship. The mandate you gave is not for title, but for service — to listen, to act, and to stand with you through challenges and triumphs alike.
Our strength as Ndokwa East lies in our unity. In our creeks and on our land, we share one destiny. Democracy thrives when we choose peace over division, dialogue over conflict, and community over self.
On this Democracy Day, I urge us all: Let us renew our faith in Nigeria. Let us play our part — register, vote, engage, and hold leaders accountable. Let us teach our children that their voice matters and that government belongs to the people.
May this day inspire hope in every home across Ndokwa East. May it strengthen our resolve to work for a constituency where opportunity is not limited by geography and where no community is left behind.
