The Commissioner for Energy Delta State, Engr. Michael Anoka FNSE, has congratulated the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dennis Emomotimi Guwor, on his emergence as Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria.
Engr. Anoka described the development as well-deserved, noting that Rt. Hon. Guwor’s leadership style, experience, and commitment to legislative excellence have earned him national recognition.
According to the Commissioner, the new role is a clear testimony to the confidence reposed in the Delta Speaker by his colleagues across the country.
He said Guwor’s emergence will strengthen cooperation among state legislatures and promote good governance in Nigeria.
Engr. Anoka also expressed pride that Delta State continues to produce leaders who are making positive impacts at the national level. He wished the Speaker wisdom, strength, and success as he takes on the responsibility of leading the Conference of Speakers.
He added that Deltans are confident that Rt. Hon. Guwor will use his position to advance unity, cooperation, legislative reforms and development.
The Conference of Speakers of Nigeria is the umbrella body of Speakers of State Houses of Assembly, playing a key role in promoting legislative harmony and democratic governance in the country.
