The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) in Ogun State has called on the state government to grant tax rebates to public sector doctors to curb brain drain. Chairman Dr. Luqman Ogunjimi made the appeal during a press conference marking the association’s AGM.
He noted that while salary parity with federal counterparts has been achieved, high tax deductions are discouraging doctors from staying in the state.
