President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has named Professor Attahiru Muhammadu Jega, the former chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), as his Special Adviser and Coordinator of the Presidential Livestock Reform.

This appointment aims to drive meaningful progress in the livestock sector and strengthen national development efforts. Jega, who previously co-chaired the Presidential Livestock Committee with President Tinubu, will build on the committee’s comprehensive recommendations for sustainable livestock reforms.
