High Chief Emmanuel Erezih, also known as Okpomo, the Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Beautification, has reaffirmed his strong support for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda, describing it as a transformative vision capable of ushering in greater development, unity, and prosperity for Delta State.

Speaking today in Asaba at the official defection ceremony of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Deputy Governor Sir Monday Onyeme, immediate past Governor Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa, and a host of other People’s Democratic Party (PDP) faithful into the All Progressives Congress (APC), OKPOMO noted that the move signals a new dawn for Delta State’s political landscape.
He stressed that despite the political realignment, the MORE Agenda—built on the pillars of Meaningful Development, Opportunities for All, Realistic Reforms, and Enhanced Peace and Security—remains intact and even more energized.
According to him, the agenda is not just a political slogan but a sincere blueprint for deepening democratic dividends, improving infrastructure, creating jobs, and ensuring inclusive growth across all sectors.
High Chief Erezih further encouraged Deltans to remain steadfast in their support for Governor Oborevwori, stating that the governor’s leadership style, marked by openness, resilience, and a people-first approach, is exactly what the state needs at this critical period.
He concluded by calling on all stakeholders, irrespective of political affiliations, to rally behind the governor to realize the full potential of the MORE Agenda, assuring that brighter days are ahead for Delta State.
