… Says There Is No End To The Exercise
The Chairman, Nigeria Majority Leaders’ Forum, Majority Leader of Delta State House of Assembly and member representing Aniocha North Constituency, Hon. Engr. Emeka. Nwaobi, Ph.D., has influenced the empowerment of 10 of his constituents.
In another commendable gesture, last weekend, 250 people benefitted from his personal empowerment as he doled out a whopping sum of N50 million, equitably distributed to the beneficiaries in his spirited efforts to lift the people’s standards of living, as he firmly believes that investing in human capital development is the rightway to go.
Responding to the press, Nwaobi averred that there is no end to empowering his constituents so long as he is their representative in government and there is a credible means for him to do so, insisting that he has an in-built zeal to ensure the growth and overall development of his Constituency, which includes adequate investment in the living standard of the people, stating that the paucity of funds due largely to the reverse in the country’s economy which spiralling negative effect directly impedes government activities at all levels, has in no small measure hampered his empowerment plans for his people.
Hon Nwaobi however, said that he would never lose focus on the plight of his people on whose mandate he sits in the State House of Assembly, even as he would endeavour to attract more beneficial infrastructure to his constituency, leveraging on the state government’s developmental policy that takes into consideration all component parts of the state under the well packaged M.O.R.E Agenda.
The empowerment, which was evenly spread to reflect his characteristic principle of equal representation of his constituency, had the following persons as the beneficiaries:
(1) Juliet Ngozi Okafor…..Ward 1
(2) Anthonia Onyeoka……Ward 2
(3) Chinwealilior Esther…..Ward 3
(4) Ebube Ugbo Joy…..Ward 4

(7) Okwuoha Favour…..Ward 7
(8) Chukwudi Blessing Chekwume……Ward 8
(9)Kenneth Blessing Amaka……Ward 9
(10) Morka Lillian……Ward 10
Nwaobi advised the beneficiaries to be prudent with the funds made available to them, and invest wisely, noting that little drops of water make a mighty ocean.
The beneficiaries thanked and encouraged Hon. Nwaobi to continue his good gesture to his constituents, which has immensely distinguished him as a reputable politician whose representation of his people is highly worthy of emulation.
