Delta Speaker Rt Hon Emomotimi Guwor attended the 5th convocation ceremony of Novena University, where Governor Sheriff Oborevwori was awarded a Doctor of Science degree (Honoris Causa) in Public Policy and Strategy. This honor recognizes Governor Oborevwori’s outstanding accomplishments in governing the state.

During the ceremony, Speaker Guwor praised Novena University’s leadership for their dedication to academic excellence and 20 years of contributions to nation-building. He also congratulated the graduands, encouraging them to be good ambassadors of the institution and utilize their knowledge for the betterment of society.

Notably, the State Deputy Governor, Sir Monday Onyeme, was among the graduands, receiving a Master of Science degree in Accounting. The ceremony marked a significant milestone in Novena University’s history, celebrating academic excellence and achievement.
