In a deep zeal to strengthen party unity and commitment to grassroots politics, Chief Tony Amechi today, 30th January 2025, hosted the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leadership and ward executives of Ndokwa East Local Government Area at his residence. The gathering was an offspring of
his unwavering dedication to the party and his deep-rooted belief in the progress of Delta State under the administration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
The PDP executives were warmly received by Chief Amechi, as emphasized the importance of party unity and grassroots mobilization. He acknowledged the sacrifices of the ward and local government executives, commending their steadfast dedication to the PDP.
The blue blood indigene of Aboh Kingdom reassured the executives of his continuous support, both in words and actions. He recognized the crucial role they play in ensuring that the government’s developmental agenda reaches every corner of the local government.
“You are the backbone of our party at the grassroots level. Your hard work and commitment do not go unnoticed, and I assure you that I will always stand by you,” he said.
He further pledged to assist them in any way possible, ensuring that they have the necessary backing to carry out their responsibilities effectively.
Chief Tony Amechi also made a passionate call to showcase the achievements of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration. He encouraged them to use every available platform to spread awareness of the government’s good works, ensuring that the people remain informed and supportive.
He also admonished them to have patience and trust in the M.O.R.E Agenda as he is much aware that expectations are high, he appealed to the party faithful to exercise patience as the administration work towards fulfilling its campaign promises. He assured them that the Governor’s commitment to the people is unwavering and that in due time, more developmental projects would reach all parts of the state, including Ndokwa East.
