Chief Ezenwafor Jude, also known as Onowu government, has emerged as the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) gubernatorial aspirant for the Anambra State election. He obtained the PDP nomination and expression of interest forms, joining other aspirants in the state.
As a former Senior Special Assistant to ex-Governor Willie Obiano, Ezenwafor aims to “rescue” Anambra State from the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). His campaign mantra is “Ife abata” (Light has come), promising to bring transformation and progress to the state.
Ezenwafor’s background includes working with former Governors Chinwoke Mbadinuju, Chris Ngige, and Peter Obi. He has also been involved with the Labour Party, serving as its chairman and even emerging as a presidential candidate for the party’s faction.
