The Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Beautification, High Chief Emmanuel Erezih popularly known as Okpomo, has issued a firm warning to opposition parties ahead of the 2027 governorship election in Delta State.
Okpomo emphatically stated that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has not only proven himself as a capable leader but has also set a new standard for governance in the state. He pointed out that in just two years, the governor has recorded remarkable achievements across multiple sectors, making him the undisputed choice for continuity in leadership.
According to Okpomo, the governor’s impactful projects are evident in Infrastructural Development, Human Capital Development, Healthcare and Education and Economic Growth and Stability
Okpomo advised opposition political parties in the state to reconsider their ambitions, as the people of Delta State have already witnessed the effectiveness of Governor Oborevwori’s administration and will not be swayed by political distractions.
“There is no vacancy in Osadebe House in 2027!” Okpomo declared, urging political stakeholders to rally behind the governor for continued progress and development.
He further emphasized that any attempt by opposition parties to contest against Governor Oborevwori would be a waste of time and resources, as the evidence of his leadership and good governance is undeniable.
While urging Deltans to remain steadfast in their support, Okpomo called on leaders, community stakeholders, and party loyalists to ensure that the development strides witnessed under Governor Oborevwori are sustained beyond 2027.
With the governor’s track record of achievements and widespread public approval, Okpomo reiterated that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) remains the dominant force in Delta State politics and will continue to steer the state toward greater prosperity.
