The Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) has conferred a prestigious award on the Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, in recognition of his outstanding leadership and contributions to the development of Delta State.
Hon. Prince Emeka Osamuta, the Deputy Majority Whip, joins the multitude of well-wishers in congratulating Mr. Speaker on this well-deserved recognition. “Rt Hon. Guwor’s award is a testament to his tireless efforts in promoting the welfare of the people of Delta State,” Hon. Osamuta said. “His leadership has been a beacon of hope, inspiring confidence and trust in the Delta State House of Assembly.”
As a visionary leader, Rt Hon. Guwor has demonstrated exceptional courage, wisdom, and foresight in piloting the affairs of the House. His commitment to transparency, accountability, good governance and humility has earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues, constituents, the media and the general public.
Under his leadership, the Delta State House of Assembly has witnessed unprecedented growth, with the passage of landmark bills and motions that have positively impacted the lives of the people. His door-to-door policy has ensured that the needs and concerns of all constituents are heard and addressed.
